Choosing the best time to take your wedding photos…

Basic Time for Photography

30 min for details of your dress, shoes and getting ready
30 min for bridal portraits
15 min for people arriving at the church, Groom and Guests
45 – 1 h  for the ceremony and confetti
15 min of the decor at the reception (If time allows)
30 min for family and group shots
30 min for bridal party photos
30 – 45 min for couple photos

If you are getting married in the afternoon, it will be worth your while to put aside extra time for photographs. The light of late afternoon is especially flattering and you therefore need to put aside enough time for your photographs to be taken before the reception. You can use the Sunset Table to help plan the schedule of your BIG day.
