Eshoot: Roche & Lara

Lara and Roche got engaged in PARIS! How romantic! We got to know each other a little better last weekend when we did their engagement shoot at Sea point. They are an awesome couple, cant wait to shoot them again next year!

I asked Lara to tell us about the special engagement!

Roché & I spent 10 fantastic days in London & Paris over Dec 2011.

We arrived in a beautifully sunny Paris on 26 Dec. After quickly checking in at our hotel, we headed for the Eiffel Tower.

After an hour & half in a queue, we climbed on board the lift & headed for the 2^nd floor. This structure & view over Paris was absolutely breathtaking!!

Back from our visit to the Tower, we stopped at the local grocer around the corner from our hotel for baguettes, cheese & fruit for our picnic supper in the gardens in front of the Eiffel Tower.

It was a stunning evening and the sparkling lights of the Tower were magical!

We found a nice spot  in front of the Tower to have our picnic. After a glass or two of wine, Roché put his arm around me & told me how special I was (I didn’t for a minute think this would lead to a proposal). He eventually got up, carried on with his sweet words, went down on one knee & asked me to marry him. Through the tears & surprise, I said yes & we were engaged in Paris!
